Ms. Alyssa Click has been hailed for her "exquisite coloratura" by the South Florida Classical Review.
Ms. Click has most recently joined Moon River Opera as a Company Artist. Her highlighted performances include her conducting premiere for The Music Man Jr., reprising her role of Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro (2019), Florestine in Corigliano's The Ghosts of Versailles (2018), Anna Reich in Nicolai’s Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor (2017), Lucinda in Muhly’s Dark Sisters (2017), Parpignol in the gender-bent production of Puccini’s La Femme Bohème (2017) as well as Lois Lane/Bianca in Porter’s Kiss Me, Kate! (2016).
Ms. Alyssa Click has been hailed for her "exquisite coloratura" by the South Florida Classical Review. She most recently joined Moon River Opera as a Company Artist after making her conducting debut with Brookline Pierce School’s production of The Music Man Jr. (2019).
Recent operatic appearances include Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro (2019) and Florestine in Corigliano’s The Ghosts of Versailles (2018) with Miami Music Festival, as well as attendance at the OperaWorks Winter Intensive (2018). She has appeared with Boston Conservatory Opera as Anna Reich in Nicolai’s Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor (2017), Lucinda in Muhly’s Dark Sisters (2017), and Sister Catherine in Heggie's Dead Man Walking (2017); as well as with MassOpera as Parpignol in Puccini’s La Femme Bohème (2017). Other featured operatic roles include Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro (2015), Virtu in Monteverdi's L'incoronazione di Poppea (2014), as well as Najade in scenes from Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos (2012) with Northern Arizona University Lyric Theater.
Featured musical theatre roles include Johanna Barker in Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd (2020) with Lowell House Opera, Lois Lane/Bianca in Porter’s Kiss Me, Kate! (2016) and Roxie Hart in scenes from Kander’s Chicago (2013) with NAU Lyric Theater, as well as with Flagstaff Light Opera Company as Mrs. Segstrom in Sondheim's A Little Night Music (2015). She has also worked with NAU “Jacks on Broadway Musical Revue” in scenes from Chicago, Little Shop of Horrors, Seussical the Musical, Sweet Charity, and more (2015, 2016).
Ms. Click is an avid concert performer having joined the Opera on Tap Boston roster in 2018. She regularly cultivates concert programs beginning with A Group Experience (2018). Other upcoming concerts include Miscast with Megan Callahan and Blake Jennings at The Burren (2020) featuring operatic and musical theatre and Facing Forward/Looking Back with Megan Callahan (2020) featuring music of the same title by Jake Heggie alongside romantic French repertoire. She has also been featured with the Força Choir in recordings for the soundtracks of Code Vein and God Eater III in collaboration with Bandai Namco and Go Shiina.
Alyssa was both dance captain and assistant choreographer of Pierce School’s The Music Man Jr. She was the Choreographer of the Turkish Embassy scene for the Miami Music Festival production of Corigliano’s The Ghosts of Versailles (2018). She was the choreographer and assistant director for the NAU “Jacks on Broadway Musical Revue” (2015, 2016) working to bring musical theatre scenes to life in the fully student-run program. Ms. Click accepted a position with the Sedona Academy Chamber Singers (2015-2016) performing concerts throughout the Sedona, AZ area.
As a lover of pedagogy, Ms. Click opened her private voice studio with the help of the NAU Community Music and Dance Academy in 2015 and now teaches both online and in the Boston-metro area. She began teaching at Brookline Pierce School as the Music Director, Chorus Master, and Conductor for their 3rd-6th grade production of The Little Mermaid Jr. (2019) and was Music Director and Conductor for their 7th-8th grade production of The Music Man Jr. (2019). Ms. Click is a strong advocate of movement for young performers and taught pre-ballet for ages 4-6, hip-hop for ages 5-6, and musical theatre dance for grades 1-4 at The Village Dance Studio. In the summer of 2014, she accepted the positions of music director and choreographer with the Pinewood Players Drama Camp in their production of Rock Around The Block, returning to the company where she began her performing career in the summer of 2003.
Ms. Click recently completed a Post-Graduate Fellowship in Arts Administration at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee (2019) as the first Fellow in the Conservatory side of the program. She holds a Master of Music degree in Opera Performance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee (2018) under the instruction of Dr. Kerry Deal as well as a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Northern Arizona University (2016) under the instruction of Dr. Judith Cloud.

Alyssa has been teaching voice since 2015. Recently, she was the Music Director and Chorus Master for the Pierce School production of The Little Mermaid, Jr. as well as the Music Director and Conductor for their production of The Music Man Jr. She has a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance from Northern Arizona University (2016) and holds her Master of Music degree in Opera Performance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee (2018).
Skills taught include: vocal technique, repertoire, musicianship, sight-reading, audition preparation, role preparation, and an emphasis on an overall healthy style of vocalization in any genre. Alyssa teaches mainly musical theatre and classical repertoire.
